Water-sensitive Surfaces

The WF series of products are not suitable for application surfaces that are incompatible with water or liquid solvents. 

For application surfaces which are water-sensitive or incompatible with solvents, we offer a custom solution to enable a fully dry, solventless transfer onto an application surface.

Transfer Services

We offer services for transferring our graphene films onto your dedicated substrates, with capability for wafer-scale vacuum bonding transfer in an ISO 7 cleanroom environment.

Primarily designed for semiconductor and sensing sectors, we can also accommodate custom projects upon request.

How Our Product Works

Cut and Prepare
the Sheet
Use scissors to cut the graphene sheet to the desired size. Peel off the backing sheet using tweezers, ensuring the graphene side is exposed for transfer.

Place the graphene and substrate inside an A4 envelope for protection. Feed the envelope through a laminator set to the appropriate temperature (typically 150°C, adjusted as needed).

Dissolve the
Water-Soluble Layer
Submerge the laminated substrate in a DI water bath overnight to dissolve the water-soluble polymer film. Ensure the graphene side is facing up and does not touch any surfaces during this process.
After the film has dissolved, remove the substrate and rinse thoroughly with DI water. Dry using a nitrogen gun to avoid contamination.

Transfer
Examine the surface to ensure the graphene has adhered smoothly to the substrate. The transferred graphene layer should now be visible and ready for use.
